101 in 1001

When I first read this entry on Siovhan's blog I thought "oh that's nice but I could never have the dedication to do something like that." I even said about as much in her comments.

And then the whole job thing happened.

I said that I wanted to look at all this as a new adventure, I way to make changes in my life. And I think maybe this may be a way to help me make changes for the better.

Day Zero is a way to organize those 101 things to do is 1001 days. Wait. You haven't heard about those? Hello. Everybody's doing them.

Well. I started my list. I'm currently at 51 things. And I know I'll add to the list as I think of more.

Hopefully you will all follow on this journey with me. I really think it's going to be a positive experience for me.

Here is my list.
It needs to be finished by October 4th, 2012.

I am so glad to finally see an explanation of what 101 in 1001 is because I have been completely out of the loop on it. What a wonderful undertaking! Definitely keep us up to date on your progress...I'm in awe of the dedication that you and other people have to start something like this.

Your list looks great...all such positive changes. :) GOOD LUCK!!!

That's an awesome idea! I'm definitely going to think about that! Thanks for posting this.

Good luck with your list! You can definitely do it.

my name is lauren.

we never sit at the table for dinner and i totally want to host a murder mystery party too!

also...good luck with the swearing. that's a tricky one. it's easy for me because i spend 10 hours a day with preschoolers where i CAN'T swear, so it just sticks :).

love your list.

Life Lists seem to be rather in vogue this time of year, and 101 in 1001 particularly so amongst the bloggers! Best of luck in your quest :D

I love this - I have been working on my own 101 in 1001 for a while now but I haven't posted it yet because I wanted to have 101 completed. You have a great list!!! ox

I LOVE this list!! I think that lists of what you want to do and a timetable for them are FAR more effective than "resolutions"...and sending a secret to Postsecret has been on my list for quite some time. I did the "eat in a restaurant" by myself and "go to a movie" by myself. The movie wasn't bad. The restaurant was excrutiating. But I did it. Thank you so much for sharing. I look forward to following you on this journey.

Hey... great list! I've been to a restaurant for dinner on my own (I recommend taking a book), a movie on my own (Marie Antoinette)& I drink water every day (love the stuff!) but some of the other things are on my list of things to do before I'm 33 (Tea party!!!!)... Good luck! Sending you much luck with the job hunt xxx

I LOVE your list! Especially the party ideas and getting another tattoo! I'm currently saving up my money {and courage} to get my first one. This is so inspiring!

Dear Krysten. I read your list. I LOVE "We Need to Talk About Kevin." Everyone always looks at me weird. But I swear, that book is so totally fully imagined...and it's going to be a movie with Tilda Swinton! Hot, right? Anyway. Your list is very inspirational. I hope you get it all accomplished!
