Getting To Know ME: Second Installment

First off, I wanted to thank everyone who participated in Getting To Know Your (And Me!). I love being able to get to know a little about who exactly is reading this blog and it's fun getting to answer some of your questions too! So, without further ado...

Amanda asked: What is your most embarrassing moment?
Truly... I don't have many embarrassing moments. I try to stay away from that. Not that this is THAT embarrassing but at Caribou I was carrying a pitcher of water and not entirely paying attention to where I was going. I tripped over a box and spilled the water EVERYWHERE. Which isn't really THAT bad except we were REALLY busy and everyone saw me do it.

Siovhan asked: What's your biggest pet peeve?
Oh Siovhan, I have A TON of them. I hate when people drive slow in the fast lane. I hate when people are on their cellphones in a public place and talking REALLY loud and/or walking around like they're at home. I can't stand when people update their Facebook statuses a zillion times a day (then again, I'm so bored right now that I'm starting to do that). I'll stop there, hehe.

Allyson asked: If you were stranded on a desert island and could pick one comfort food, one electronic device, and one piece of clothing, what would they be?
My comfort food would probably be my mom's raisin bread. I can't even remember the last time I had it but I love it! My electronic device would totally be my netbook. And my piece of clothing would be this old, threadbare holey shirt of Dustin's that I LOVE to wear.

Kelly asked: What do you love the most in life and what drives you insane?
I most love having goofy, funny days with Dustin just sitting around, watching movies and acting silly. What drives me insane are those days where NOTHING goes right, you can never seem to get caught up and the minutes go SO SLOW. Ugh.

Kirsty asked: What is your favorite (and least favorite) part of being married?
My favorite: Definitely getting to spend every day with my best friend. Which may sounds cliche but it's true.
My least favorite: Honestly? I don't really have one. I mean, D and I lived together before we got married so it's more my least favorite things about living together (he's messy, he leaves video games everywhere, etc).

Stephany asked: What is your biggest fear?
Well if we really want to get morbid, I fear death. I fear what comes after this life and if what I'm doing now will effect what happens after death.
But if we're staying less morbid, I guess I'd say that my biggest fear is not achieving my goals and falling short.

Kristin
asked: What do you want to be when you grow up?
If I could be ANYTHING I'd want to be a published author.

Kelly Ann asked: Are you more of a coffee person or a tea person? What is your favorite tea and/or coffee?
I'm definitely more of a coffee person but I drink both. My favorite drip brew is probably a blend called Acacia that is sold at Caribou. My favorite "froo froo" drink would probably be a vanilla cappuccino with raw sugar sprinkled on top. And my favorite tea is from the Republic of Teas and it's called blackberry sage.

Emma asked: If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I'd let go of the past more easily. I spend a lot of time dwelling on things that have already happened and I think I'd be happier if I could just let go.

Season asked: How did you get 100 followers? What's your secret?
I comment on A LOT of blogs. And I try really, really hard to return any comments left on my blog, although I'm nearly getting to the point where there's too many! Yikes! I'd say, though, the secret is just good, old fashion hard work.

Anne asked: What is your favorite book ever?
Oh gosh. That is a HARD question. There's a book called Why Girls Are Weird by Pamela Ribon. It's not a deep thinking book and it may not be the best book ever written but I've reread it a handful of times and it always makes me laugh out loud and I always end up feeling better after I read it.

Ana asked: What has been your very favorite part about being married?
Learning even more about Dustin. After being together almost 5 years it sometimes feels like I know everything about him. But then he turns around and surprises me. It's a fun process.

Jen asked: Favorite ice cream?
It changes depending on my mood. I love cookie dough, Ben and Jerry's Half Baked, strawberry, peppermint... and it goes on.

Samantha asked: What's your favorite thing about blogging?
I have always had a diary, since I was very young. I always loved being able to get my thoughts out and having something to look back on. Blogging also does that AND on top of that I can get advice from other people and maybe even help someone. Plus, it's a really good way to learn about other people and to meet people.

Nicole asked: If you could go back to before you were married, what's the one piece of advice you wish someone had told you?
Hm. I wish someone had told me that sometimes it really is better to go to bed angry. It may not be fun. But truly sometimes you need that time to CALM DOWN. Fighting while still being heated is not the world's best idea and it can only make things worse. Just be sure that the next morning you take time to talk about it rather than shoving it under the rug.

Stefanie asked: What is the next big thing you want to accomplish?
I really need to find a job. Not just for the added income but because I think I'm slowly going insane.

Katie asked: What's your dream job?
Like I said before, I'd love to be a published author. But really, anything that would involve me writing would be a fabulous job for me.

Salt asked: Who's your favorite New Kid?
I was never much of a New Kid fan. I don't know why, I may have just been a smidge too young to care. I will tell you, though, that my favorite *N SYNC boy was JC. Although these days I definitely prefer Justin.

Caitlin asked: Will you do a general 'about me/about my life' post? Or, if you had to eat a live kitten or four of your own fingers, which would you do?
Back when I reached my 200th post I did a 200 things about me post. I think I covered a lot of things about me there. So go check it out!
And if I had to choose between a kitten or my fingers I guess, sadly, I'd choose the kitten. I mean, then much be a delicacy SOMEWHERE and I'm kind of partial to keeping my fingers. Sorry kitten.

Kim asked: If you could live a day in the life of someone else {real or fictional}, who would it be?
Hehe. I'd love to be Sookie Stackhouse. A) Because I think it'd be fun to hear other people's thoughts for a day. B) Because she has TONS of hot guys after her. And C) Because Sookie kicks butt. She is a STRONG woman and she tells it like it is.

Yay! That was so much fun all! Thank you so much for sharing a bit of yourselves with me and thanks for all your fun questions.

Back to regularly scheduled blogging tomorrow!

Wow! I wish I didn't "do" embarrassing moments! I am pretty accident prone, which leads to quite a few embarrassing moments. Great post!
