Valerie Wagner is the publicist for Glass Slipper, a life makeover company run by three "fairy godmothers" who have decided to start a magazine too. When Valerie scores the cover of a lifetime, the mysterious Prince Charming of the column, she thinks she's got it made. No one has ever actually seen who Prince Charming is and Valerie can reveal him on the first cover of Glass Slipper Magazine. Except right before the reveal, Prince Charming tells Valerie something that could ruin everything. He has a secret that could change how people view him. With very little time, they bring in Jack Lambert, a man just as hot as Prince Charming but a little rough around the edges with a string of failed relationships behind him. As the three try to pull off the huge scam, Jack and Valerie realize there is something between them. Will it be the love of a lifetime? Or will it ruin them all?
This is the second Glass Slipper book I've read. They're not hard reading but they're great chick lit. I found myself not wanting to put the book down and the sexual tension was awesome. Valerie was a character that you couldn't help but like and Jack... well, he's one of those guys that you definitely wanted to meet in person. If you're looking for a fun book that can take your mind off every day life then Dear Prince Charming is definitely a fun read for you. I'd totally recommend it, especially if you're heading to the beach (like me!) anytime soon!
