This weekend was VERY low key, which I totally needed to celebrate being done with this quarter of school. I now officially have 3 weeks off, just long enough to rejuvenate before my next classes start. Speaking of school, my grades are now official:
Go me!Anyway, this weekend we just kind of hung out with my parents, my brother and his new girlfriend Jen. Now, in the past I have scared a few of my brother's girlfriends. One deserved it and the other was scared of me because of that, hehe. But I'm his older sister! However, Jen is AWESOME and she gets along great with our family. Definitely an A+ as far as I'm concerned!
Friday night we watched movies with my folks. Ryan and Jen didn't show up till late and by then we were all tired. Which is why I'm so happy Dustin is able to take half days at work, we got up there around 4 and got to feel like we had a little extra time.

My parents' dog LucySadly, the weather wasn't great this weekend. So Saturday we headed into town to check out Musky Fest. Yes, you read right. Hayward is the kind of town that has festivals for all kinds of things, muskies included. But I got to have a chocolate covered pretzel and ice cream AND see beagle puppies so I was a happy camper.

The lake during the 2 hours of sunshine on SaturdaySaturday night we hung out at the house playing games. The first was Mille Bornes, which we didn't like because my parents totally dominated and my dad is a total sore winner. The second was Uno Spin, which I NEARLY WON till Ryan stole my win at the last second. SO MEAN!
