So... don't be mad. But. I didn't take any pictures at my party. I had my camera and everything! But then things got nuts and I was too busy having fun and next thing I knew the night was over and no pictures. I did, however, get a picture of all the wonderful birthday cards I received.
The party, though, was awesome. Some of my favorite people showed up (thanks to Ryan, Taryn, Tim, LeAnne, Shawn and Julia) and I met some new people AND had a few party crashers. We ate good food (including CUPCAKES and I will not divulge how many of those I ate), played so many games (bullshit pyramid, fuck the dealer, Apples to Apples, Catchphrase and categories) and just had an overall good time.
I didn't get to bed until well past two in the morning AND I managed to not get drunk or wake up hungover despite the fact that I kept switching between wine, beer (yes, I was actually drinking beer, total shocker for me) and margaritas. Needless to say I had a wonderful time, I'm pretty sure everyone else had a good time AND I'm pretty sure I want to have a kick butt New Year's Eve party here.
On Sunday we lazed around with my brother watching football (well, the boys watched football and I wrote a few thanks yous and letters). We were all feeling pretty worn out from the night before and about all we could do was be lazy. After Ryan left Dustin and I cleaned up a bit and then had breakfast for dinner (French toast, sausage, eggs and huge glasses on OJ). One of my very favorite meals!
Monday, of course, was our two year wedding anniversary. We both took the day off. In the morning Dustin changed his oil (hey, it needed to be done) and we ran a few errands. In the afternoon we went to the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden to hang out and take some pictures.

After playing in the Sculpture Garden we headed to dinner at Hell's Kitchen. We went to the one in Duluth for brunch on our one year wedding anniversary and our friends Tim and LeAnne gave me a gift card for my birthday so we figured it was fitting to go again for out second anniversary. We both had bison burgers (which I was astounded to find out are 30% leaner than skinless chicken - who knew?) and we shared a S'mores Cupcake a la mode for dessert. Not the best picture but here is our delicious dessert.
I had a truly terrific birthday weekend and anniversary. It's going to be hard to go back to the daily grind! I am so thankful for my friends and family for making this weekend so great and I hope we can have many, many more good times in our new home!
More soon!

A.) Having fun is way more than taking photos...sometimes. I always walk this very fine line. I love having photos but I'd rather have fun.
B.) We need to hire a professional photographer (that is dirt cheap) to follow us around and document our lives for us. Then we can have fun and have photos
C.) You two are the cutest. I love you both already :)
D.) Sounds like you two had a super fun time... can I join next time?
you are so adorably beautiful. just thought you should know...
I will need those cupcakes now. Happy Anniversary!
Belated happy anniversary to you guys! What wonderful photos, and I love that cupcake. It looks so good!
