Oh my goodness. Well I will tell you all this much. Writing is not easy. This last week of NaNo has been ROUGH. I definitely struggled this week. There were days when I I said to myself, "Eh, I'll just stop here. I'm not in the mood." But then I'd stop and think, "No. You're going to push forward. No talking yourself out of this." And so I just did.
I am incredibly excited to announce that as of right now I'm at 38468! That means I have a little more than 10,000 words to write. That is unbelievable to me! When I started this journey I kept thinking that 50,000 words is SO much. And now I am just 1/5th away. It feels within reach to me and that is a good thing.
With 1/5th left to go I am a little nervous because I'm now juggling two jobs AND school. Not to mention Thanksgiving is next week. But I am determined to keep up my good work so hopefully that will be more than enough.
Once again I am asking you all to help me out. I am still looking for NaNoWriMo sponsors. I am currently trying to raise money through NaNo and am about 65% of the way toward my goal of $100 (thank you to Tracy, Steph, Ang and Jeanette!) but if I could go above and beyond that it would be pretty amazing. All proceeds from sponsorships go to NaNoWriMo's parent 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the Office of Letters and Light to pay for their free creative writing programs in over 2,000 classrooms, 500 communities, and 100 libraries around the world. This is something I believe so strongly in and I hope as bloggers (which makes every single one of us writers) you feel the same.
Even so much as $1 would help. If you'd like to sponsor me, all you have to do is head to my Sponsorship Page. Any money you donate will go right to the Office of Letters and Light. Super easy. So please help me out if you can, it would honestly mean the world to me.
Wish me luck!

Oh, my goodness! This post is soooo inspiring. I really think I am going to do this next year for the first time. I have always been hesitant about it due to the worry that I will fail ... but that is not going to happen! Once again, you and your blog really inspires me to push through those times when "I just don't feel like it".
Thank you so much for just being you. I need to come back here when I feel like being lazy.
Defeat is not an option!
