Grace is a young girl the first time she meets her wolf, who saves her from a pack of wolves after they dragged her out of her backyard. Now at age 17 Grace looks for her wolf, the one with the yellow eyes, every winter and even winter he returns. But when a teen is killed by the wolves and a hunting group goes out to kill them, Grace races into the wolves too and finds a wounded boy with yellow eyes shivering on her back porch. In just a moment Grace knows that this boy is her wolf only in human form and now that Fate has finally brought them together she will do anything to keep her wolf with her. As their love continues to grow so does the knowledge that they can't stay together forever. Because as the temperature drops Grace knows that her boy will soon change back into a wolf.
I first heard about this book on TheNest.com but it wasn't until Sara told me I had to read it that requested it from the library. The exciting thing about it is that Grace is from Minnesota so I know all about those cold winters. It was easy to imagine the world that Grace and her wolf boy, Sam are from, especially now that the temperatures are dropping around here. For me this book started off a little slow but once Grace started racing into the woods to save the wolves I was hooked. I couldn't stop myself from flipping the pages, wanting to know what would become of Grace and Sam. I cried at the end, a sure sign of a good book, and the minute I was done I couldn't wait to start the next book in the series. I'd definitely recommend this, I promise you'll like it just as much as I did!

I'm glad you liked it- it's probably in my top 5 ever. Well, that series is. ;) Linger was just as good and I cried HARDER at the end of that one. And I'll fire off a not so nice note if Maggie botches Forever and it doesn't end the way I want it to. I'm emotionally vested here. LOL.
Must try and track this down :) x
