So a couple of pictures from my blogger weekend:
Technically this pic is illegal. We went into Sephora and I told the lady working there that I wanted to try red lips. I've always been scared to but I totally wanted to try them out. So after she gave Sara and me red lips we wanted to take a picture. Right afterwards another salesperson there told us we weren't supposed to be taking pics. Oops.
We found this hat and mittens at H&M and of course we wanted to see what a Russian prostitute looks like. Sara was kind enough to show us. Thanks Sara.
Amy, me and Sara. Sadly I realized later that we didn't take a picture when Anna was still with us. Which means, of course, we need to have a sequel get together.
I am officially starting to feel stressed out. I forgot what working normal work hours feels like. Well, not normal, since I'm not 9-5 or anything, but normal as in more than 7. I went from not working at all for 6 months to working anywhere from 5 to 15 hours a week to now working around 30. The money will be nice but being busy again is kind of a shock to my system. I will say that I'm thankful to be working for companies that give their employees the holidays off. Both Maurices and Best Buy are closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Caribou was always open EVERY.SINGLE.DAY. As if people can't make coffee in their coffee pots for two days out of the year. Seriously.
Yesterday was my first day on the floor at Best Buy. I basically shadowed some different people and learned way too much in way too small of an amount of time. My main area will be in gaming which is actually kind of funny considering I only really like to play old school Nintendo and Sega. But I'm excited to be there and the extra money will be very, very nice.

Anyway! Even though the blogger potluck didn't happen I still made Heavenly Hash because I had the makings for it. I've been eating it like crazy because I swear, it is SO good. Basically, all you do is take a bag of mini marshmallows and mix it together with a pint of sour cream. Then add whatever canned fruit you want. I made mine with pineapple chunks, mandarin oranges and maraschino cherries. Oh my gosh SO GOOD. Not kidding. Try it.

We make that every year at Thanksgiving and Christmas but we call it Ambrosia! It rocks my world, we don't mess with our recipe, sour cream, mini marshmallows, mandarin oranges, coconut and pineapple (sometimes I add very finely chopped walnuts). I could eat it by the bucket full.

I worked for Albertsons (Grocery store) for 9 years, nights weekends and holidays, I am also in the thankful boat for going on 2years now of Holidays OFF. P.s. Places like Caribou should be closed! That's ridic!

those are totally fun photos! love them. and hang in there with all that busyness! i know i always struggle with that whole grass + other side = greener. i'm unemployed right now and going a little bit crazy with nothing productive to do. but i know once i get a full time job i'll miss these calm, relaxing days. money is pretty necessary though. alas! :)

My son is working as a seasonal employee at Best Buy too! He just got his hours for Black Friday, 4:30am - 3pm.
It is funny he has been in Uni in England for 3 years and as we never shopped Black Friday he had really no clue about it until 6 weeks ago.

It's hard to get used to more hours. I went from 30 to 40 2 months ago and it was definitely a shock to the system lol. I shouldn't complain, but I hear ya. I'm used to working full time again and am not sure what I'll do with all my spare time when I go back to my FTE.
