I would really love to be less stressed out and worried all the time.  I worry CONSTANTLY.  I worry about EVERYTHING.  And I stress myself out over things I can't change.  I wonder why I have trouble sleeping.  I'm going to have worry lines very soon.  It's just ridiculous.

I worry over money, over Dustin, over how fast I'm getting to customers.  I stress over the temperature, over my pets, over how fast or how slow someone's driving.  I have a terrible time relaxing.  Even when I say I'm going to relax I'm usually stressing about SOMETHING.

I really want to change this about myself.  I am going to worry myself right into an early grave.  I always say that I'm lucky I married Dustin because he's so chill.  However I feel like I'm pushing my stresses and worries onto him.

We only get one life.  If I spend my life constantly worried then am I going to one day look back and realized I stressed about stupid things?  I don't want that.

Obviously I need to live the Jamaican way of life.  No worries.

Must be exhausting!
Luckily I am quite good at pushing away thoughts like that and consider myself a rather carefree soul :)

Have a happy carefree Sunday!

Gah! We are like the same person in regards to this. I find that I am incapable of relaxing. I always feel like I'm worrying about something, or making myself do extra work just in case something new comes up. Blergh! Being a worrywart bites! :P

Anna @ The Owl and The Phoenix

I also always worry about stuff. It is so exhausting and frustrating. If you find the secret to being more relaxed, be sure to share =)

Amber Blue Bird

i know how you feel. Its hard to relax and live in the "now" when you have so many things going on inside your head. I find this to be very difficult especially when I am trying to fall asleep. If you find a way to make the stress go away let me know :)

Hey Krysten, I was a bit like that but I've managed to get it under control. I posted about Worry Cards on my blog a while back. I'm really enjoying using them and they really help. Have a beautiful day!

I have problems with this too, but I have to be honest and say that I find SO much relief from taking Zoloft. It really is just what I needed.

Renée

I do the same, such a bad habbit!

Emily Jane

I do the same thing - it's hard because while I KNOW it's a waste of time, I don't seem to be able to stop doing it!

Jen

Try blaring "Three Little Birds" by Bob Marley - it always makes my stresses melt away. :)

Stephany

I am the EXACT SAME WAY! It's so awful. Sometimes, it's over serious issues and sometimes, it's over the stupidest stuff! I'm starting therapy this month and I'm hoping I can find some strategies to lessen the worry that seems to hang over my life. It's not a fun way to live at all.

ilene @ muchloveilly

i've actually been working on this particular area of my life this week. i love the last part of this post - we have only one life to live. i don't want to look back and see that i wasted time worrying over frivolous things.

thanks for the reminder!

Kristin

I think we all could use a little more Jamaica in our life! : )

Kristin Hjellegjerde

One of the stressful things about being a woman is the worrying part! Have a lovely day Krysten

Ang

start smoking pot! ;)

Amylou

I'm a worrier too and my husband is the chill one. We are very similar. Sometimes I just have to let him deal with things!

gringationcancun

I'm the same way. I pick apart every stupid thing I've said, stuff at work, mild arguments with friends... EVERYTHING. Luckily Jorge is great about calming me down and making me see that it doesn't matter. Since we've been together, I have been much, much better about it.

OceanDreams

It's hard not to worry so I totally understand! Deep breaths, journaling, and talking it out always help me a bit. :)

Elise Halladay

I do the same thing... and thankfully my husband knows how to calm me down and help me calm down. I'm sorry hun- its a tough personality trait!

yours truly dear

thank goodness for husbands and zanax, right? haha. in all seriousness, i totally get what you mean about looking back on your life and thinking that. for a while i made a happy list every day (5 things that made me happy that day) in a notebook to help me focus on positives and be grateful for what i have, and it helped a lot. just something to consider. good luck. you're awesome!
