Questions Answered

You asked and now I'm answering!  Enjoy!

If you could be anywhere in time or space, where would you be right now?  Honestly, right now I'd be perfectly content on a beach in Jamaica with a fruity drink in my hand and reggae music playing in the background.

What has been the biggest mountain so far for your marriage to overcome?  Our money problems last year after I lost my job.  Dustin's not very good at talking about money and things were SO tight and it was just incredibly hard.  However, getting through that makes me feel like we can overcome anything so I guess we did find a silver lining through it all.

What are you 5 favorite desserts?  My all time is pretty much ANYTHING cheesecake.  I also love ice cream sundaes, cherry pie, my mom's peanut butter cookies and cupcakes.

You are stranded on an island and can only bring one book and one album. Which ones do you bring?  Okay this is hard, how do I only get by with one book!?  That'd last me all of a day!  Probably the 7th Harry Potter but with the epilogue torn out (seriously, what was she thinking when she wrote that part).  As for an album, I'd want Maroon 5's first one, Songs About Jane.  I could listen to it over and over and over.

What do you think you could do to make your life happier/peaceful/blissful?  Stop worrying so much.  Seriously I worry ALL THE TIME about EVERYTHING.

Why are you not included in your cast of characters and have no about me section? I'd love to learn more about YOU.  I actually do have an about me section although right now it's kind of lame.  It's located here and it's also on my side bar right under the welcome.  I promise one day I'll make it more interesting, I'm just lazy right now.

Do you consider yourself a forgiving person? Why or why not?  I'm going to be totally honest.  No, I'm not.  I used to be.  I've been burned so many times and it gets old forgiving people when they turn around and hurt you again.  I will typically forgive someone once and if they turn around and do something again they're out of my life.

How did your blog get so popular and how did you get so many followers?  I basically searched out blogs and commented on them.  A lot.  So people would come back to read my blog, liked what they read and decided to follow me back.  I also reply back to EVERY SINGLE comment I get on my blog.  If someone if going to take the time to leave me some love then I want to return that favor.

Will you come to Missouri so we can meet in person and hang out?  Seriously if money were no object I'd spend my time traveling all over the place visiting all my awesome blogger friends!

What's the most annoying thing someone can order at your restaurant?  Honestly I'm not one to talk because I'm a picky eater so I probably order annoying things.  Most of our breakfasts, like omelets and benedicts, come with a bread option and one of those options is pancakes.  I always hope that someone wants toast or a muffin instead because pancakes mean an extra plate and for some reason that's just annoying.

What do you plan on doing after you finish your online courses? Jobs? How much longer do you have to go?  I'm hoping to graduate at the end of 2011.  If all goes according to plan I will.  Oddly enough, I have no idea what I want to do when I'm done.  In a perfect world, I'd be a published author.  And if I could really use my degree for something I'd love to do online marketing and advertising for a company.  But honestly, I'd love just to have a job in which I don't have to serve food anymore!

Tell us about the new tat you're getting!  I want to get a stack of books on the back of my neck.  I've always been a bookworm and books are honestly one of my very favorite things so I feel like it'll be a very fitting tattoo.

Thank you all for submitting questions, happy Memorial Day!

I am seriously excited to see how your tattoo will look. :)

Jeremy lost his job to this year. It sucked, but I feel like it helped us mature a little more in our relationship...but I wouldn't want to go through it again. ;)

Happy memorial day!

I love these sorts of "getting to know me" posts. And that is a fabulous photo of you, Krysten!

Cheesecake is amazing! But I think I may like ice cream sundaes better.

Love your philosophy about returning notes. It's just the polite thing to do and oh-so appreciated. :)

that tattoo sounds cute! I love when people do these and to learn more about fun blog friends!

I am now taking a mental vacay and am imagining being at The Rockouse in Negril sippin' on a Red Stripe. Thanks for the inspiration!

Oooh, can't wait to see the tattoo!! I'm not a forgiving person, either. AT ALL. It's one of my most stubborn traits.

I was wondering how you got so many followers. I mean I know I love your blog and so do so many people clearly do as well. I've been trying for a while to up my followers. I used to be so non consistent with my blog and wouldn't blog for months. I made a new years resolution to blog more and I've kept up with it.
I read a lot of blogs and comment a lot but I'm stuck at 19 followers. I guess I'm not that interesting.
Boo : (

I would like to be in Jamaica now too but for now, I am going to have to settle for Dominican Republic. I went to Montego Bay last August and loved everything about it, especially the food, music and culture.

Songs About Jane is an awesome album. I think it was there best one.

Crazy Little World Of Mine

Love this girl. Totally agree with Songs about Jane. Still one of my fave CDs I own and still listen to.
And yes, I try the same thing with just want to return the favor. :)
