Storytelling in 30 Photos ~ Photo Four

4. A picture of something that makes me happy.

This is the lift bridge in Duluth, MN.  And you see that hotel next to it?  That's the hotel that Dustin and I stay in whenever we visit.  Duluth is in Northern MN and it's such a beautiful place to visit.  We took this picture on our 1 year wedding anniversary and every time I look at it I think about how at peace I am when I'm in that town.  We have this same picture sitting on our mantle and it just makes me wish that every day could be as pretty and as peaceful as this day was.  This picture reminds me to stop and smell the roses and it always puts a smile on my face.

Awwww, that's beautiful. Sounds like you have some great memories there :)

OH! So glad you posted this... I had never realized this hotel, and I'm always looking for a good hotel to stay that faces the water and it's so hard to find one available sometimes. This one is perfect!! super awesome! We went to Two Harbors for our Honeymoon, it was beautiful! We spent a day in Duluth; and I agree... I get the same exact feeling as you I'm up there. There is just something about it.

That is a gorgeous photo...perfect with the clouds and blue sky! I love that you have it sitting on the mantle to remind you of your anniversary and a wonderful time together! :) Hope you had a nice weekend.

That hotel looks amazing

I just love Duluth and looking at the Aerial Bridge. Canal Park is one of my favorite places.

I love Duluth. It's only 45 min north of our cabin so we visit a lot. Such a great city.
