What books would you choose?

hahah i was actually going to say the same about being obsessed with Why Girls Are Weird :)

Sandy a la Mode

i just blogged about the girl with the dragon tattoo and i couldn't put that book down so i'd suggest that one!!

Cafe Fashionista

Ah, I love this post, Krysten - we have such similar taste in books...it's insane! :)

le sorelle

Sign me up for Hogwarts, too?! I think I'm over the age limit, but you know.. ;) Those were my favorite books, hands down.

I should probably read "why girls are weird"... now you have mentioned it quite a few times, so I must read it!

kelli g. { bug miscellany }

i hated the scarlet letter too. :P

Erika

9 days in a row is TOO much work I'm exhausted for you! I can hardly handle 5

Carrie

Well, since we have pretty similar taste in books, I must put Cinderella Rules and Why Girls are weird on my wishlist. (p.s. I love Twilight, too - so no judging over here!)

Meghan

I really loved The Scarlet Letter in school, but I hated A Tale of Two Cities!

Charlotte

GAH! Good luck with working 9 days in a row! That's rough, girl :(

I love this lost and haven't yet read anything by Pamela Ribon--thanks for the suggestion!

I'm sure my list would be similar, but I'd substitute Why Girls Are Weird with Kate Chopin's The Awakening. And I'd probably throw in some Jumpa Lahiri somewhere. Love this list!

Jaime @ La vie...J'aime

i guess i need to read that Why Girls are Weird book! Matched is on my reading list for this summer too :)

Kristin

My favorite book will forever be Austen's Emma. I'm a sucker for a good romance!

Erin {pughs' news}

I could quite happily live at Hogwarts!

This is a great list. I'd forgotten about Tuesdays with Morrie, and how wonderful it is. I might just have to re-read it this summer...

ilene @ muchloveilly

i think i have to do a post like this - so fun! yes to edward!! i do not judge you. :)

gringationcancun

I am so with you on a lot of these!

I'd love to live in Harry Potter, Jen Lancaster is hilarious, and I had to read Crime and Punishment in high school... the worst book I have ever read. Probably the ONLY book I've ever read that I DIDN'T like.

Amylou

Krysten I loved this! I will definitely be doing this on my blog sometime this week. I will link back to this post! :)

Summer Athena

dude. i love this but i want some explanations as to why...

like -- the book that makes you sick? why?

la petite coquine

I love how many of these I haven't read-new books! I think my all time favorite book would be This Side of Paradise-it brings me right back home to Princeton! Books I've "read" but couldn't tell you a lick about: lots of Austen and Brönte tomes. I just couldn't care about the characters, although Pride and Prejudice and Wuthering Heights are notable exceptions! Can you believe I actually ready Crime & Punishment for fun one summer? I love those Russians!

Crazy Little World Of Mine

Yay on Tuesdays with Morrie. I cried and it did change my life too. Little things, but it did! And I really need to get that Why Girls are Weird book. Really really do. ;)

Cole

I love this survey. AND YES! to living in Harry Potter! What a great pick!

Dancing Branflake

Your love for reading is so refreshing and fun. Thanks for this!

sarah - dodeline design

I'll have to check these out! Good luck with the crazy work schedule!

The Blonde Duck

I have to check out Why Girls are weird!

Ashley

Everyone keeps talking about The Hunger Games- guess I'll need to add that to my summer reading list!

Oh to Be a Muse

2 kill a mockingbird and crime and punishment are two of my fave books. C&P is a tough read, but i just really love it!

i want to read The Hunger Games and I need to buy that Post Secret book--would be great on the coffee table.

4 shifts to go! :)

Vanisha @ Vanisha's Life In...Fiji

What a great list! I really enjoy your book series :) I might have a go at answering these too. Think about all the tips you'll make and all the books, clothes, SHOES ;) you can buy in about 4 days!

christa

I'm going to have to add some of those to my summer reading list! :)

My favorite assigned reading from school was Fahrenheit 451. I still have my copy full of notes and highlighter marks!

Andrea

Deidre

I haven't read most of these...eep!

I love anne of green gables. I always wished I was Anne.

Jessica

Hope you get a day of rest after nine days of work!

giaghani

To Kill a Mockingbird was definitely my favorite too!! :)

Smart Ass Sara

One of my most favorite books is "The Leisure Seeker" by Michael Zadoorian. It made me look at aging differently, but in a better way.

Jan

I checked your list out, after following the link from my daughter Carrie's blog. Great list. What do you work at a bookstore, if not you should! I work at B&N.

Shea

I loved this survey--I'm definitely going to have to pick up Why Girls are Weird!

Jo

LOVE this post!!

Have you read The Book Thief? (my fave y.a. book!)

Jen

I checked out "Why Girls Are Weird" from my library last time you mentioned it, but I never got around to reading it before it was due... err, overdue. Oops.

Stephanie

I would LOVE to live in Harry Potter as well. I wouldn't mind saying I had a degree in witchcraft from Hogwarts. I swear,I'm not weird. lol

Eternally yours,
Stephanie

Amanda

I may have to steal this. Oh gosh, what to pick, what to pick :)

Brooke Ann Dove

What an amazing post...I love hearing other peoples favorite books, then I add them to my list.

Ocean Dreams

Oooh let me know what you think of Matched! I LOVED this book and am anxiously awaiting the sequel in November. :)

samnhal

I'll have to check out that why are girls weird book, I've never heard of it. hehe, I love the twilight ones that you put on here. Crime and Punishment did suck, but I had to do a 10 page outline on it, so I had to finish it, and over the summer..boo! Good thing those days are over.

Pamela Ribon

I'm so ridiculously flattered. Thank you, and thanks for finding me some potential new readers!
