Blogger Meetup

Very quickly, I have a new email address!  It's WhyGirlsAreWeird@gmail.com.  If you have me in your contacts, please remember to change my address!

So on Wednesday I had evening plans for a blogger meetup with some amazing ladies.  I'd met Ang before, of course, but I also got to meet Kristi, Kim and Dana for the first time.

Before heading out I decided that it would be fun to do a couple of outfit pics.  I don't do these often because I really don't think of myself as all that fashionable but every now and again it's fun!

Jeans: Old Navy; Top: Old Navy; Sandals: Payless; Necklace: Lillypie; Ring: 25 Design

The blogger meetup was at Axel's Bonfire in St. Paul.  If you haven't been and you get a chance to, definitely go.  It's in the same building as Cafe Latte which... I am kicking myself for not stopping in there after.  Their cheesecake is YUM.

Anyway, Ang, Kim and Kristi were at the bar when I arrived and since all the drinks were $2 I couldn't help but order a vodka tonic.  Dana showed up right after me and so we decided to head to our table.

I've gotta say I had a great time.  I've met quite  few bloggers and this group of girls was a great group to have dinner with.  Kim is totally sassy (I absolutely agree with you on that point Ang!), Kristi is hysterical getting all her food pictures, Dana is a total sweetie and Ang is, well, Ang (she didn't try to steal my pickle so it was a good day).

The following pics were taken by Kristi (with the exception of the one with Kristi in it, which was taken by Ang on Kristi's camera):

All 3 of us are lefties so we of course had to sit by each other!

I really want to try to make dinners like this a more routine thing; not only because I adore hanging out with other bloggers but I really miss hanging around with other women who have things in common with me.

Like I mentioned, Kristi had to take pictures of all the food we ordered because she is also the brains behind the Twin Cities Restaurant Blog.  She doesn't have her review for Axel's Bonfire up yet, but she's sure to soon.  In the meantime, if you're ever in the Twin Cities and you're looking for a good place to eat you should so check out her blog.  And call me so we can organize a meetup!

That's all for today, have a great Friday all!

P.S. Have you checked out my Keep Warm, Look Snazzy Scarf Swap yet?  It's going to be fun!

I had lunch at Axel's on Wednesday! I actually prefer Cafe Latte, but half of the group I was with had eaten there the day before.

SO FUN!

I keep wanting to do a blogger meet up, but I think I only follow one Chicago blogger so I need to figure out that whole thing first. lol

I think you look great, fashion is all about how clothes makes you feel and if you feel good in them, you automatically look good in them :)

Glad you girls had such a great time! xo

It's so great that you're reconnecting with ladies that you share things in common with. I didn't realize how important it was until I started making an effort. You all look beautiful!
