There is one HUGE reason that Bellatrix Lestrange is my least favorite female character and the reason is that she killed Sirius Black. When Bellatrix was first introduced I didn't think much of her. She was just another crazy Death Eater. No biggie, there are lots of crazy Death Eaters. But then the battle in the Department of Mysteries happened. And Sirius died. Because of Bellatrix. Sirirus Black is one of my all time favorite characters and his death made me so angry.
Which is why I'm sure you all will understand when I cheered at Bellatrix Lestrange's death at Molly Weasley's hand.

bellatrix is just out and out crazy which i kind of find interesting. but i understand why she's your least fav.

I'm a hugeee HP fan!! I love Bellatrix though. Sadly she was evil, but the actress that played her did it so well. She made the character intriguing. The books were a different story. I hated her in the books.

Oh gosh, I hate Bellatrix Lestrange too! Although I love Helena Bonham Carter. She was an amazing Bellatrix. :)

I remember not warming to her character in the book either. Haven't seen the movie though and quite inept to take part in this conversation! lol
I have to say she is actually one of my favorite characters in Harry Potter. Yes, she was evil and killed Sirius (one of my faves!), but she was deliciously twisted and just all-around a great villain.
My least favorite would have to be Fleur, solely because she didn't add anything, in my opinion.
p.s. I cheered when Molly did her thing too!

Oh I totally agree! I like that actress because she's really good at every part she plays but I really hate her character. That part when Sirius died was so SAD!
